Database
Exports
The compressed ZIP archive file listed below has exports of the NHTSA Component Test Database which are made available for download by any user wishing to explore the available crash test specification data. While we cannot provide specific technical assistance for individual database products the NHTSA Reference Guide is available for table structure information to aid users. Each table is exported into its own pipe-separated ("|") values ASCII text file. Columns in the database export files are delimited by a pipe-separated ("|") and records are delimited by an end-of-line ("\n").
Supporting software will be required to extract the files and import them into other programs. Programs such as Microsoft Access and Excel support an ASCII file import facility and allow the user to select the data field delimiter.
